These Air Fryer Sweet Potato Fries are crispy, lightly seasoned, and incredibly easy to make. They’re a healthy alternative to deep-fried versions and make the perfect side dish or snack for any occasion.
Ingredients
- 2 medium sweet potatoes
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch (optional)
- Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
Instructions
- Wash and peel sweet potatoes if desired. Cut into 1/4 to 1/2 inch thick fries.
- Optional: Soak fries in cold water for 30 minutes, then drain and dry thoroughly.
- In a mixing bowl, toss sweet potatoes with olive oil, seasonings, and cornstarch if using.
- Preheat air fryer to 380°F (193°C) for 3 minutes.
- Arrange fries in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook in batches if needed.
- Air fry for 12-15 minutes, shaking or flipping halfway through.
- Remove when golden and crispy. Garnish with parsley if desired and serve hot.
