Ingredients
- 12 oz egg noodles
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 (15 oz) can tomato sauce
- 1 (10.5 oz) can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 (10.5 oz) can cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup sour cream
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Cook egg noodles in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until browned. Add chopped onion and cook until soft. Drain excess fat.
- Stir in garlic powder, tomato sauce, both soups, and sour cream. Season with salt and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Gently fold in cooked noodles until evenly coated.
- Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top.
- Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes, or until cheese is melted and casserole is bubbly.
- Let rest for 5–10 minutes before serving.
