1/2 cup powdered sugar
1–2 tablespoons milk or cream
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Unroll crescent dough and press seams together to make a large rectangle.
3. Lightly roll out dough to even it out.
4. Brush melted butter over the entire surface.
5. Mix sugar and cinnamon, then sprinkle evenly over buttered dough.
6. Fold dough in half lengthwise to sandwich the cinnamon sugar.
7. Cut into 1-inch strips using a knife or pizza cutter.
8. Twist each strip and place on the baking sheet.
9. Bake for 10–12 minutes or until golden and puffed.
10. In a small bowl, whisk powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla to form glaze.
11. Drizzle glaze over twists while warm.
12. Serve immediately or allow to cool and store as needed.
Notes
For best texture, serve warm out of the oven.
Chill the dough before twisting if it’s too soft to handle.
Use crescent dough sheets for a cleaner and quicker prep.
