Ingredients

1 can refrigerated biscuit dough or crescent roll dough

1 cup peeled and diced fresh apples (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp)

4 oz cream cheese, softened

6 soft caramel candies or 1/3 cup caramel sauce

1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/4 cup granulated sugar

2 tablespoons melted butter

2 cups oil for frying (if not baking)

Instructions

1. Peel and dice the apples into small chunks. Sauté in a skillet with a bit of butter and a sprinkle of cinnamon for 3–4 minutes until slightly softened. Set aside to cool.

2. Flatten each biscuit or crescent dough into a disk. Place a spoonful of apple filling, a small piece of cream cheese, and a caramel candy or drizzle of sauce in the center.

3. Seal the dough by bringing the edges together and pinching closed to form a ball. Ensure no gaps are left.

4. Choose cooking method:

5. – To bake: Brush bombs with melted butter, place on a lined baking sheet, and bake at 375°F (190°C) for 12–15 minutes.

6. – To fry: Heat oil to 350°F (175°C) and fry bombs 2–3 minutes per side until golden. Drain on paper towels.

7. While still warm, brush with more melted butter and roll in a cinnamon-sugar mixture to coat.

8. Arrange on a serving plate and generously drizzle with caramel sauce before serving. Enjoy warm!

Notes

Don’t skip pre-cooking the apples; it helps soften them and infuses flavor.

Make sure to pinch the dough tightly—any gaps will leak filling.

For an extra crispy texture, bake them in the air fryer at 350°F for 8–10 minutes.
