Ingredients

  • 12 oz penne or ziti pasta
  • 2 cups cooked chicken (shredded or cubed)
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 ½ cups freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  • oreheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9×13 baking dish.

  • Cook pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.

  • In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute.

  • Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute. Slowly whisk in milk and heavy cream until smooth.

  • Simmer sauce for 4–5 minutes until slightly thickened.

  • Stir in Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Remove from heat.

  • In a large bowl, combine pasta, chicken, and Alfredo sauce. Toss to coat.
