Ingredients
12 oz bowtie pasta
1 lb boneless skinless chicken breast
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp paprika
2 cloves garlic minced
1 cup heavy cream
8 oz Velveeta cheese cubed
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
2 tbsp fresh parsley chopped (optional)
Instructions
1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook bowtie pasta until al dente according to package instructions. Drain and set aside, reserving ½ cup of pasta water.
2. Cut chicken into bite-sized cubes and season with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
3. Heat a skillet over medium-high and cook the chicken until golden and fully cooked, about 6–8 minutes. Remove and set aside.
4. In the same skillet, lower heat to medium and add garlic. Sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
5. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Add Velveeta and mozzarella, stirring until fully melted and smooth.
6. Add the cooked pasta to the sauce and stir to coat. Use reserved pasta water to thin the sauce if needed.
7. Return the chicken to the pan and combine.
8. Serve warm, garnished with parsley and black pepper.
Notes
Use freshly shredded mozzarella for better melt and texture.
Don’t boil the sauce — simmer gently to avoid cheese separation.
