Ingredients
2 cans refrigerated cinnamon rolls
4 large eggs
1 cup whole milk
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons butter
1/4 cup maple syrup
1 package cream cheese icing
1/3 cup chopped pecans (optional)
1/2 cup fresh berries (optional)
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with butter.
2. Cut each cinnamon roll into quarters and spread evenly in the baking dish.
3. In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, heavy cream, sugars, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
4. Pour the custard evenly over the cinnamon roll pieces.
5. Gently press the pieces down to help them soak up the mixture.
