A cozy, comforting meal made with juicy, golden-seared chicken breasts paired with silky buttered noodles. This dish is perfect for a weeknight dinner or an easy entertaining option—simple, rich, and satisfying.


Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skin-on chicken breasts
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1 tbsp olive oil or butter (for searing)
  • 8 oz egg noodles
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 tbsp heavy cream or whole milk
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
  • 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Pat the chicken breasts dry and season both sides with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  2. Heat olive oil or butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken skin-side down for 5–6 minutes, then flip and cook another 5–7 minutes until done.
  3. Remove chicken and let it rest.
  4. In a pot of salted boiling water, cook egg noodles until al dente. Drain, reserving some pasta water.
  5. In the same skillet used for chicken, melt butter and stir in cream. Add a splash of pasta water to loosen the sauce if needed.
  6. Toss noodles into the skillet and coat them evenly in the sauce. Season with salt and pepper.
  7. Slice the rested chicken and serve over buttered noodles.
  8. Garnish with parsley and Parmesan if using.
