Ingredients

1 sheet frozen puff pastry (thawed)

8 oz Brie cheese (cut into 1-inch cubes)

0.5 cup whole cranberry sauce

1 sprig fresh rosemary (for garnish)

1 egg (optional, for egg wash)

1 tbsp water (to mix with egg)

Cooking spray or butter (for greasing muffin tin)

Instructions

1. Roll out the thawed puff pastry on a floured surface and smooth out folds. Cut into 24 equal squares.

2. Lightly grease a mini muffin tin and press each puff pastry square into the wells to form cups.

3. Place one cube of Brie into each puff pastry cup.

4. Add about 1 teaspoon of cranberry sauce over the Brie in each cup.

5. Optional: Mix egg with water and brush the edges of the pastry for a glossy finish.

6. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake for 15–18 minutes, until golden and puffed.

7. Let cool in the tin for 5 minutes. Carefully remove each bite.

8. Garnish with a small rosemary sprig and serve warm.

Notes

You can substitute cranberry sauce with fig jam or apricot preserves for a different flavor twist.

Keep puff pastry cold until baking to ensure maximum puff and flakiness.

Garnish with rosemary after baking to preserve its fresh flavor and color.
