Ingredients
- 12 oz bowtie (farfalle) pasta
- 1 lb ground beef (80/20 or 85/15 preferred)
- 2 cups Alfredo sauce (store-bought or homemade)
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp butter
- 3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
- Reserved pasta water, as needed
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the bowtie pasta until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water, then drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned, about 6–8 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Drain excess grease and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in Alfredo sauce and let it simmer gently for 2–3 minutes. Stir in Parmesan cheese until fully melted. Season with more salt and pepper if needed.
- Return the ground beef to the skillet. Add cooked pasta and toss everything together until evenly coated in sauce. Use reserved pasta water to adjust consistency if necessary.
- Remove from heat. Garnish with chopped parsley and extra Parmesan if desired.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
