Creamy Beef and Bowtie Pasta is a hearty, comforting dish that combines tender beef with a rich, garlicky cream sauce, all tossed with perfectly cooked bowtie pasta. It’s an easy yet elegant meal perfect for weeknight dinners or casual entertaining.
Ingredients
- 12 oz bowtie (farfalle) pasta
- 1 lb beef steak (sirloin or ribeye), cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp butter (divided)
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish
Instructions
- Cook pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water and drain the rest.
- Heat olive oil and 1 tbsp butter in a skillet over medium-high. Sear beef in batches until browned. Set aside.
- Reduce heat to medium. Add remaining butter, sauté onion until soft, then add garlic for 30 seconds.
- Pour in beef broth and scrape the skillet bottom. Simmer briefly, then stir in heavy cream.
- Add Parmesan and stir until melted and smooth. Return beef and pasta to skillet.
- Toss everything together, adding reserved pasta water if needed. Season with salt and pepper.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
