Creamy Beef and Bowtie Pasta is a hearty, comforting dish that combines tender beef with a rich, garlicky cream sauce, all tossed with perfectly cooked bowtie pasta. It’s an easy yet elegant meal perfect for weeknight dinners or casual entertaining.

Ingredients

  • 12 oz bowtie (farfalle) pasta
  • 1 lb beef steak (sirloin or ribeye), cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp butter (divided)
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water and drain the rest.
  2. Heat olive oil and 1 tbsp butter in a skillet over medium-high. Sear beef in batches until browned. Set aside.
  3. Reduce heat to medium. Add remaining butter, sauté onion until soft, then add garlic for 30 seconds.
  4. Pour in beef broth and scrape the skillet bottom. Simmer briefly, then stir in heavy cream.
  5. Add Parmesan and stir until melted and smooth. Return beef and pasta to skillet.
  6. Toss everything together, adding reserved pasta water if needed. Season with salt and pepper.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
