Description
Creamy Garlic Parmesan Chicken with Cheesy Twisted Pasta is a hearty, comforting dish featuring seared chicken breasts over a bed of creamy garlic parmesan sauce-coated rotini pasta. It’s indulgent, satisfying, and comes together in about 35 minutes.
Ingredients
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 8 oz rotini pasta
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 3/4 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)
Instructions
- Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook rotini pasta according to package directions. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water, drain and set aside.
- Pat chicken breasts dry and season both sides with salt and pepper.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Sear chicken for 5–6 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and let rest.
- Lower the heat to medium. Add butter and minced garlic to the skillet and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Pour in heavy cream and let it simmer for 2–3 minutes. Slowly stir in parmesan cheese, allowing it to melt.
- Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat. Use reserved pasta water to adjust consistency if needed.
- Slice rested chicken and serve over the creamy pasta. Garnish with parsley and extra cheese if desired.
