Description

Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 oz rotini pasta
  • 2 tablespoons butter (divided)
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Season chicken with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  2. Heat 1 tablespoon butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken for 5–6 minutes per side until cooked through. Remove and rest.
  3. Boil pasta in salted water until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water, then drain.
  4. In the same skillet, melt the remaining tablespoon of butter. Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds.
  5. Pour in heavy cream and simmer gently.
  6. Stir in parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
  7. Add cooked pasta to the sauce, tossing to coat. Use reserved pasta water as needed to loosen sauce.
  8. Slice chicken and serve over the pasta. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
