½ cup reserved pasta water (as needed)


Instructions

1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook linguine until al dente. Drain and reserve ½ cup pasta water.

2. Season chicken breasts with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.

3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken 5–6 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and let rest.

4. In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium. Add butter and garlic, sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.

5. Stir in a pinch of Cajun seasoning, then pour in heavy cream and simmer gently.

6. Add shredded mozzarella, stirring until melted and sauce is smooth.

7. Toss in cooked linguine. Add reserved pasta water a splash at a time to loosen the sauce if needed.
