Whether you’re looking for easy dinner ideas, a quick comfort food fix, or simply a creamy chicken recipe to add to your weeknight rotation — this dish has you covered.

Ingredients

4 boneless skinless chicken breasts

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 tablespoon butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped

3/4 cup chicken broth

1 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

1. Pat the chicken breasts dry and season both sides with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika.

2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken breasts until golden brown on both sides, about 4–5 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.

3. Lower the heat to medium and melt butter in the same skillet. Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.

4. Stir in the chopped sun-dried tomatoes and cook for another 1–2 minutes.

5. Pour in chicken broth, scraping the bottom of the pan to deglaze. Add heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.

6. Stir in Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning. Simmer for 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened.

7. Return the chicken to the skillet and simmer for another 5–7 minutes until fully cooked through.

8. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately with your favorite side.

Notes

For the best sear, let your chicken come to room temperature before cooking.

Use sun-dried tomatoes packed in oil for the richest flavor and texture.

Reheat leftovers slowly over low heat to prevent the sauce from breaking.
