Ingredients
- 3 large Russet potatoes
- 1 1/2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- Optional: 1/2 teaspoon onion powder or a pinch of cayenne pepper
Instructions
- Wash and cut potatoes into 1/4 inch thick sticks.
- Soak cut potatoes in cold water for at least 30 minutes.
- Drain and dry thoroughly with a clean towel.
- In a large bowl, toss fries with olive oil and seasonings until evenly coated.
- Preheat air fryer to 380°F (193°C).
- Arrange fries in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
- Cook for 15-18 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
- Repeat with remaining batches if needed.
- Serve hot with your favorite dip or side.
