  • Author: Emily Carter
  • Total Time: 15 minutes
  • Yield: 1 sandwich

Description

Golden, buttery, and flaky, this Croissant Breakfast Sandwich is packed with creamy avocado, crispy bacon, fluffy eggs, and melted cheese for a truly indulgent morning treat.

Ingredients

1 large croissant (cut in half horizontally)

1 large egg

2 to 3 slices ripe avocado

2 slices cooked bacon

1 slice cheddar cheese

A few leaves green leaf lettuce or arugula

Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

Butter or oil for cooking the egg

Optional: dash of hot sauce or aioli

Instructions

1. Preheat your oven or toaster oven to 350°F (175°C). Slice the croissant and toast for 3–5 minutes until the edges are crisp.

2. Heat a nonstick skillet over medium heat, add butter or oil, and cook the egg to your preference. Season with salt and pepper. Add cheese on top to melt.

3. While the egg cooks, slice avocado and prepare bacon and lettuce.

4. Assemble the sandwich: bottom croissant half, lettuce, bacon, avocado, then the egg with melted cheese. Top with the other croissant half.

5. Serve warm, immediately.

Notes

Avoid overstuffing to maintain the croissant’s shape and texture. Use ripe avocados and melt the cheese properly for best results.
