Ingredients
- 3 cups cooked chicken, shredded or cubed
- 12 oz penne or rigatoni pasta
- 2 cups Alfredo sauce
- 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
- ½ cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
- 1 tbsp olive oil (for greasing)
Optional Add-ins:
- 1 cup cooked mushrooms
- 1 cup steamed broccoli
- ½ cup ricotta or cottage cheese
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with olive oil.
- Cook pasta in salted water until just shy of al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine pasta, chicken, Alfredo sauce, 1 cup mozzarella, parmesan, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Pour mixture into the prepared baking dish. Spread evenly and top with remaining ½ cup mozzarella.
- Bake uncovered for 20–25 minutes, until top is golden and bubbly.
- Let rest for 5–10 minutes before garnishing with parsley and serving.
