Ingredients

½ cup mozzarella cheese (cut into triangles)

½ cup sharp cheddar cheese (cut into triangles)

2 cups Nacho Cheese Doritos (crushed into fine crumbs)

½ cup all-purpose flour

2 large eggs

2 tablespoons milk

2 cups vegetable oil (for frying)

½ teaspoon garlic powder (optional)

1 tablespoon chopped parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

1. Cut mozzarella and cheddar into ½-inch thick triangles. Stack or layer them as desired. Keep chilled.

2. Crush the Doritos in a food processor or bag until they resemble breadcrumbs. Pour into a shallow bowl.

3. Set up a breading station with flour in one bowl, beaten eggs with milk in another, and Doritos crumbs in the third.

4. Coat each cheese triangle in flour, then egg mixture, then press into Doritos. Repeat egg and Doritos for extra crunch.

5. Freeze coated cheese triangles for 15–20 minutes to firm up.

6. Heat oil in a skillet to 350°F (175°C). Use enough oil to submerge halfway.

7. Fry triangles in batches, 2–3 minutes per side, until golden and crispy. Don’t overcrowd the pan.

8. Drain on paper towels. Garnish with parsley and serve hot with your favorite dip.

Notes

Chill the coated cheese before frying to avoid melting too fast.

Double-coat the cheese triangles for a thicker, crunchier crust.

Use finely crushed Doritos for even coating and crisp texture.
