Ingredients

2 large boneless skinless chicken breasts (sliced in half horizontally)

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

1 tablespoon olive oil

2 tablespoons butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/4 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

1/3 cup chicken broth

2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (plus more for garnish)

Instructions

1. Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.

2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken for 4–5 minutes on each side until golden and fully cooked (165°F). Set aside.

3. Reduce heat to medium. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic for 1 minute until fragrant, scraping up browned bits.

4. Add chicken broth to deglaze the pan. Pour in heavy cream, Parmesan, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes. Simmer for 3–4 minutes until creamy and slightly thickened.

5. Return chicken to the pan and coat with sauce. Let it simmer for 2–3 minutes to reheat and absorb flavors.

6. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot with your choice of side.

Notes

Use freshly grated Parmesan for best melting and flavor.

Avoid high heat when adding the cheese to prevent clumping.

Let the chicken rest before slicing to keep it juicy.
