Ingredients

  • 1 ½ lbs sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ cup beef broth
  • ¾ cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • ¼ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the steak – Pat dry and season steak bites with salt and black pepper. Let sit at room temperature for 10 minutes.
  2. Sear the steak – Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear steak bites for 2-3 minutes per side until browned. Remove and set aside.
  3. Make the garlic butter – Lower heat to medium, melt butter in the skillet, and sauté garlic for 30 seconds.
  4. Prepare the sauce – Pour in beef broth, scraping up browned bits. Add heavy cream and let simmer for 2-3 minutes. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
  5. Combine and serve – Return steak bites to the pan, toss in the sauce, and cook for 1-2 minutes. Garnish with parsley and red pepper flakes. Serve hot!
