Description

These Garlic Parmesan Green Bean Casserole Cups are a flavorful, bite-sized twist on a holiday classic. Made with puff pastry, sautéed green beans, garlic, and a creamy cheese base, they’re topped with crispy onions and baked to golden perfection. Ideal for parties, potlucks, or a creative addition to your weeknight dinner lineup. This easy recipe is perfect for anyone looking for quick breakfast ideas, easy dinner options, or crowd-pleasing food ideas with a gourmet flair.

Ingredients

1 sheet puff pastry, thawed

1 cup fresh green beans, chopped and blanched

2 cloves garlic, minced

1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese

3 oz cream cheese, softened

2 tbsp heavy cream

1/2 cup crispy fried onions

1 tbsp olive oil or butter

1/2 tsp salt

1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and grease a muffin tin.

2. Roll out the puff pastry and cut it into squares to fit each muffin cup.

3. In a skillet, heat olive oil or butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.

4. Add the green beans to the skillet and sauté for 3–4 minutes, just until slightly tender.

5. In a mixing bowl, combine the green beans, garlic, cream cheese, heavy cream, Parmesan, salt, and pepper.

6. Press puff pastry squares into each muffin cup, letting the corners stick out.

7. Spoon the creamy green bean mixture into each cup evenly.

8. Top each cup with crispy fried onions.

9. Bake for 18–22 minutes or until golden brown and puffed.

10. Let cool for 5 minutes before removing from the tin. Serve warm or at room temperature.

Notes

For the crispiest pastry, avoid overfilling and preheat your oven fully.

Make sure the green beans are well-drained to prevent a soggy filling.

These can be made ahead and frozen—just reheat straight from frozen for a perfect snack.
