Description

Creamy, tangy, and packed with bold umami flavor, this Homemade Caesar Dressing is the perfect addition to your easy dinner lineup or healthy snack board. Whether you’re whipping up a quick Caesar salad, searching for new dinner ideas, or looking for an easy recipe that doubles as a veggie dip or sandwich spread, this dressing hits all the marks. With fresh garlic, Parmesan, anchovy paste, and lemon juice, it brings restaurant-quality taste to your kitchen in just minutes.

Ingredients

1 cup mayonnaise

2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice

2 teaspoons Dijon mustard

2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce

2 teaspoons anchovy paste

1 large garlic clove, finely minced

1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 teaspoon salt

2 tablespoons water (as needed)

Instructions

1. Measure and prepare all ingredients. Grate the garlic and Parmesan for best texture.

2. Add mayonnaise, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, anchovy paste, and garlic to a blender or food processor. Blend until smooth.

3. Add Parmesan, pepper, and salt. Blend or whisk again until fully combined.

4. Thin with water if needed, blending until the desired consistency is reached.

5. Transfer to a jar and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to let flavors meld.

6. Serve chilled over salads, sandwiches, or as a dip. Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 7 days.

Notes

Let the dressing sit in the fridge for 30 minutes before serving for the best flavor.

Use freshly grated Parmesan for a creamier texture and more robust taste.

If you’re unsure about anchovies, start with a small amount—you can always add more.
