- 1 tsp salt
- 1 1/2 tsp freshly cracked black pepper (divided)
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 2 tbsp butter (melted)
- 2 tbsp honey
- 2 tbsp lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
- 1 tsp lemon zest (optional, but recommended)
- Chopped fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C) or air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Pat chicken wings completely dry with paper towels.
- In a large bowl, toss wings with baking powder, salt, garlic powder, and 1 tsp of black pepper until evenly coated.
- Arrange wings on a wire rack over a lined baking sheet (or place in air fryer basket without overcrowding).
- Bake for 40-45 minutes, flipping halfway, or air fry for 20-24 minutes, shaking halfway.
