Description

Craving something rich, spicy, and satisfying? This Honey Pepper Chicken Pasta recipe delivers big flavors with minimal effort—perfect as a quick dinner or indulgent weekend treat. Juicy seared chicken tossed in a sticky-sweet honey pepper glaze is layered over creamy parmesan rotini, creating a balanced and unforgettable dish. If you’re looking for easy dinner ideas, quick meals, or a food idea that impresses guests, this one checks every box.

Ingredients

1 lb chicken breast

8 oz rotini pasta

3 tbsp honey

1 tsp freshly ground black pepper

1/2 tsp red chili flakes

1 cup heavy cream

3/4 cup grated parmesan cheese

2 cloves garlic, minced

2 tbsp olive oil

2 tbsp butter

1/2 tsp salt

1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook rotini until al dente. Drain and reserve 1/2 cup pasta water.

2. Slice chicken into strips, season with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a skillet and cook chicken until golden and fully cooked. Set aside.

3. In the same skillet, add butter and garlic. Sauté for 30 seconds, then stir in honey, black pepper, and chili flakes. Simmer 2–3 minutes until thickened. Return chicken to pan and coat in glaze.

4. In a separate saucepan, melt butter, add garlic and cream. Simmer gently, then slowly stir in parmesan until smooth. Add reserved pasta water as needed.

5. Toss pasta in cheese sauce, top with glazed chicken and drizzle extra sauce on top. Garnish with parsley and serve warm.

Notes

Use fresh parmesan for the smoothest, best-tasting cheese sauce.

Adjust chili flakes based on your spice tolerance.

Add a splash of pasta water when reheating to restore creaminess.
