Ingredients

  • 4 cups fresh broccoli florets, chopped
  • 1 large Honeycrisp apple, thinly sliced or julienned
  • 1/4 small red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup sunflower seeds (or toasted nuts)
  • 1/4 cup cooked, crumbled bacon (optional)
  • 1/3 cup dried cranberries

Dressing:

  • 1/3 cup plain Greek yogurt (or mayonnaise)
  • 1 1/2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Wash and chop broccoli into bite-sized florets.
  2. Slice the apple and red onion finely.
  3. Optional: Toast seeds or nuts in a skillet for 2–3 minutes.
  4. In a bowl, whisk together yogurt, vinegar, honey, salt, and pepper.
  5. In a large bowl, combine broccoli, apple, onion, cranberries, and bacon.
  6. Pour dressing over salad and toss to coat evenly.
  7. Chill for 15–30 minutes before serving.
