Ingredients
- 4 cups fresh broccoli florets, chopped
- 1 large Honeycrisp apple, thinly sliced or julienned
- 1/4 small red onion, thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup sunflower seeds (or toasted nuts)
- 1/4 cup cooked, crumbled bacon (optional)
- 1/3 cup dried cranberries
Dressing:
- 1/3 cup plain Greek yogurt (or mayonnaise)
- 1 1/2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Wash and chop broccoli into bite-sized florets.
- Slice the apple and red onion finely.
- Optional: Toast seeds or nuts in a skillet for 2–3 minutes.
- In a bowl, whisk together yogurt, vinegar, honey, salt, and pepper.
- In a large bowl, combine broccoli, apple, onion, cranberries, and bacon.
- Pour dressing over salad and toss to coat evenly.
- Chill for 15–30 minutes before serving.
