Ingredients

  • 24 wonton wrappers
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 34 fresh jalapenos, finely diced
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 3 green onions, finely chopped
  • 4 slices cooked bacon, crumbled (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh cilantro or parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a muffin tin.
  2. Press one wonton wrapper into each muffin cup, ensuring the corners stick out slightly. Bake for 5-7 minutes until lightly golden.
  3. In a bowl, combine cream cheese, cheddar cheese, jalapenos, garlic powder, green onions, and bacon (if using). Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Spoon the mixture into the pre-baked wonton cups, filling each about 3/4 full. Top with a thin slice of jalapeno or extra cheese if desired.
  5. Bake for another 10-12 minutes until the wontons are golden brown and the filling is bubbly.
  6. Remove from the oven, garnish with fresh cilantro or parsley, and serve warm.
