Ingredients
- 24 wonton wrappers
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 3–4 fresh jalapenos, finely diced
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 3 green onions, finely chopped
- 4 slices cooked bacon, crumbled (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh cilantro or parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a muffin tin.
- Press one wonton wrapper into each muffin cup, ensuring the corners stick out slightly. Bake for 5-7 minutes until lightly golden.
- In a bowl, combine cream cheese, cheddar cheese, jalapenos, garlic powder, green onions, and bacon (if using). Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Spoon the mixture into the pre-baked wonton cups, filling each about 3/4 full. Top with a thin slice of jalapeno or extra cheese if desired.
- Bake for another 10-12 minutes until the wontons are golden brown and the filling is bubbly.
