Ingredients

3 cups cooked shredded chicken

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1 cup sour cream

1/2 cup mayonnaise

1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1 1/2 cups crushed Ritz crackers

4 tablespoons melted butter

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

2. In a large bowl, mix the shredded chicken, softened cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, cream of chicken soup, shredded cheddar, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.

3. Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.

4. In a separate bowl, mix the crushed Ritz crackers with melted butter until evenly coated.

5. Sprinkle the cracker topping over the casserole.

6. Bake uncovered for 30–35 minutes or until the casserole is hot and the topping is golden.

7. Let the casserole rest for 5–10 minutes before serving. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired.

Notes

Let the cream cheese come to room temperature for easier mixing.

You can add cooked vegetables like broccoli or peas to make it a one-pan meal.

Make it gluten-free by using gluten-free cream soup and cracker alternatives.
