  • Author: Emily Carter
  • Total Time: 23 minutes
  • Yield: 8-10 croissant rolls

Description

Flaky, buttery croissant rolls filled with gooey mozzarella cheese and savory pepperoni slices, perfect as a snack, appetizer, or party treat. These rolls are easy to make and packed with cheesy, pepperoni flavor in every bite.

Ingredients

  • 1 can refrigerated croissant dough (or homemade croissant dough)
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese (shredded)
  • 2024 pepperoni slices
  • 1 egg (beaten, for egg wash)
  • 1 tablespoon butter (melted, optional for extra flavor)
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning (optional)
  • Fresh parsley or basil (optional garnish)
  • Marinara sauce (for dipping, optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare the dough by unrolling the croissant dough and separating it into individual triangles.
  3. Add the filling by placing 2-3 pepperoni slices and a pinch of mozzarella cheese on the wide end of each triangle. Optionally, sprinkle with Italian seasoning for added flavor.
  4. Roll the croissants starting from the wide end and rolling toward the tip. Pinch the edges slightly to seal.
  5. Apply egg wash by brushing each roll lightly with the beaten egg to achieve a golden, glossy finish. Optionally, brush with melted butter for added flavor.
  6. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
  7. Garnish and serve with optional fresh parsley or basil and marinara sauce for dipping.
