Flaky, buttery croissant rolls filled with gooey mozzarella cheese and savory pepperoni slices, perfect as a snack, appetizer, or party treat. These rolls are easy to make and packed with cheesy, pepperoni flavor in every bite.
Ingredients
- 1 can refrigerated croissant dough (or homemade croissant dough)
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese (shredded)
- 20–24 pepperoni slices
- 1 egg (beaten, for egg wash)
- 1 tablespoon butter (melted, optional for extra flavor)
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning (optional)
- Fresh parsley or basil (optional garnish)
- Marinara sauce (for dipping, optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Prepare the dough by unrolling the croissant dough and separating it into individual triangles.
- Add the filling by placing 2-3 pepperoni slices and a pinch of mozzarella cheese on the wide end of each triangle. Optionally, sprinkle with Italian seasoning for added flavor.
- Roll the croissants starting from the wide end and rolling toward the tip. Pinch the edges slightly to seal.
- Apply egg wash by brushing each roll lightly with the beaten egg to achieve a golden, glossy finish. Optionally, brush with melted butter for added flavor.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
- Garnish and serve with optional fresh parsley or basil and marinara sauce for dipping.
