Description

Craving something sweet, salty, and chocolatey without turning on the oven? These No Bake Salted Caramel Pretzel Bars are a must-try! With a crunchy pretzel base, soft caramel center, and rich chocolate topping finished with flaky sea salt, they’re the ultimate easy dessert bar. Perfect for last-minute snacks, edible gifts, or a quick fix for your sweet tooth. This easy recipe is ideal for quick desserts, no bake treats, and fun food ideas for parties or holidays.

Ingredients

2 cups salted pretzels

11 oz soft caramel candies, unwrapped

3 tablespoons heavy cream

1 tablespoon butter

1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

1 teaspoon flaky sea salt

Instructions

1. Line an 8×8-inch or 9×9-inch baking dish with parchment paper, leaving overhang. Lightly spray with non-stick spray.

2. Break pretzels into smaller chunks and spread them evenly across the pan.

3. In a medium saucepan over medium-low heat, combine the caramel candies, heavy cream, and butter. Stir until smooth and melted.

4. Pour the caramel over the pretzels and spread evenly. Let sit for 10–15 minutes to slightly set.

5. Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl using 30-second intervals, stirring between each.

6. Pour and spread the melted chocolate over the caramel layer.

7. Immediately sprinkle flaky sea salt over the chocolate while it’s still wet.

8. Refrigerate the bars for about 2 hours, or until fully set.

9. Lift out using parchment, slice with a sharp knife, and serve!

Notes

Use high-quality caramels for a smoother, richer caramel layer.

A hot knife makes slicing through the chilled layers much easier.

For clean layers, allow caramel to cool slightly before adding the chocolate.
