Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
 - 1 lb steak (sirloin, ribeye, or flank), thinly sliced
 - 1 packet (1 oz) Cajun seasoning, divided
 - Salt and black pepper, to taste
 - 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
 - 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
 - 12 oz penne pasta
 - 3 cups chicken broth
 - 1 cup heavy cream
 - 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
 - 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
 - Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
 
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet or Dutch oven over medium-high heat.
 - Season steak with half the Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
 - Sear steak for 1–2 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
 - Deglaze the pan with a splash of chicken broth.
 - Stir in remaining Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, and onion powder.
 - Pour in the rest of the chicken broth and heavy cream.
 - Add pasta and bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer and cover.
 - Cook for 12–15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is al dente.
 - Reduce heat to low. Stir in mozzarella and cheddar until melted.
 - Return steak to pot and mix gently to warm through.
 - Taste and adjust seasoning. Garnish with parsley if desired.
