Ingredients

  • 1 lb sirloin steak (or flank/skirt)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
  • 1/2 cup buffalo sauce
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 1/2 cups water or broth
  • 8 oz penne pasta
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season steak with salt and pepper.
  2. Sear steak for 3–4 minutes per side. Remove and let rest.
  3. In the same skillet, sauté garlic for 30 seconds. Add ranch seasoning and stir briefly.
  4. Pour in buffalo sauce, cream, and water/broth. Stir to combine.
  5. Add pasta and bring to a simmer. Cover and cook for 12–14 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. While pasta cooks, slice the steak thinly against the grain.
  7. Stir the steak into the pasta, then top with mozzarella. Cover to melt or broil until bubbly.
