Ingredients
- 8 oz penne pasta (uncooked)
 - 2 cups chicken broth (low sodium preferred)
 - 1 cup heavy cream
 - 2 cups cooked chicken breast, shredded or sliced
 - 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
 - 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
 - 2 tbsp butter
 - 2–3 cloves garlic, minced
 - Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
 - Chopped parsley or basil for garnish (optional)

Instructions
- In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds to 1 minute until fragrant.
 - Add the cooked chicken and pour in chicken broth. Season lightly with salt and pepper.
 - Stir in the penne pasta, ensuring it’s mostly submerged. Cover with a lid and simmer over medium-low heat for 12–14 minutes, stirring occasionally.
 - Once pasta is tender and most liquid is absorbed, reduce heat to low and stir in heavy cream.
 - Add cheddar and Parmesan cheeses. Stir until the sauce is smooth and creamy.
 - Let simmer for 2–3 minutes to thicken. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
 - Remove from heat, garnish with fresh herbs, and serve hot.
