These Pecan Pie Balls are the ultimate no-bake treat, bringing all the warmth and sweetness of a classic pecan pie into a portable, poppable dessert. They feature toasted pecans, a rich maple-brown sugar filling, and a drizzle of chocolate for a decadent finish.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups chopped pecans (toasted, if desired)
- 1 cup crushed graham crackers or vanilla wafers
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/3 cup maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet or dark chocolate chips (for drizzling)
Instructions
- Toast the pecans in a dry skillet over medium heat for 3–5 minutes, stirring frequently. Let cool, then chop finely.
- In a mixing bowl, combine chopped pecans, crushed graham crackers, brown sugar, and salt.
- Add maple syrup and vanilla extract. Mix until the mixture is sticky and holds together.
- Roll into 1-inch balls using about 1 tablespoon of mixture per ball.
- Place the balls on a parchment-lined tray and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
- Melt the chocolate chips in the microwave in 20-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
- Drizzle the melted chocolate over the chilled balls.
- Refrigerate again for 10–15 minutes or until the chocolate is set.
