Description

Looking for a quick weeknight dinner that’s packed with flavor, healthy veggies, and ready in under 30 minutes? This Quick Honey Garlic Chicken Stir Fry is your new go-to. Juicy chicken breast, crisp broccoli and carrots, and a sticky-sweet garlic sauce come together in one pan. Whether you’re after a fast dinner idea, healthy meal prep, or a simple recipe for beginners, this stir fry ticks all the boxes. Serve it over rice or noodles for a satisfying, balanced meal that beats takeout any day.

Ingredients

1 lb boneless skinless chicken breast

2 cups broccoli florets

1 cup sliced carrots

3 cloves garlic minced

1/4 cup honey

1/4 cup soy sauce

1 tsp cornstarch

1/4 cup water

2 tbsp vegetable oil

1 tbsp sesame seeds optional

Instructions

1. Cut the chicken into bite-sized pieces. Slice the carrots and chop the broccoli into florets. Mince the garlic and set aside.

2. In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, garlic, water, and cornstarch. Set the sauce aside.

3. Heat 1 tbsp of oil in a skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the chicken in a single layer. Sear for 1–2 minutes, stir, and cook until fully cooked through (5–6 minutes). Remove from the pan and set aside.

4. Add the remaining oil to the pan. Stir fry the carrots for 2–3 minutes, then add the broccoli and cook another 3–4 minutes until crisp-tender.

5. Return the chicken to the pan and pour in the sauce. Stir everything together and let the sauce bubble for 2–3 minutes until thickened and glossy.

6. Remove from heat, sprinkle with sesame seeds if using, and serve hot over rice or noodles.

Notes

Cut all ingredients into uniform sizes so they cook evenly.

Don’t overcrowd the pan — work in batches if needed to keep the sear on the chicken.

Want extra flavor? Drizzle in a bit of sesame oil or sriracha at the end.
