Ingredients

  • 2 oz (60 ml) blanco tequila
  • 1 oz (30 ml) fresh lime juice
  • 3/4 oz (22 ml) triple sec or Cointreau
  • 3/4 oz (22 ml) simple syrup or agave nectar
  • 1/2 cup fresh raspberries (plus more for garnish)
  • Ice cubes
  • Salt or sugar for rimming the glass
  • Lime wedges or slices for garnish

Instructions

  1. Rim a margarita or coupe glass with lime juice and dip into salt or sugar. Set aside to chill.
  2. In a cocktail shaker, muddle the raspberries until juicy.
  3. Add tequila, lime juice, triple sec, and simple syrup to the shaker.
  4. Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for 15–20 seconds.
  5. Double strain the mixture into the prepared glass to remove seeds and pulp.
  6. Garnish with fresh raspberries and a lime wedge or slice.
  7. Serve immediately and enjoy!
