Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef (preferably 85/15)
- 4 medium potatoes, chopped
- 3 carrots, peeled and sliced
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- Fresh parsley, chopped (optional for garnish)
Instructions
- In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
- While the beef cooks, chop potatoes, carrots, onion, and garlic.
- Add potatoes, carrots, and onion to the slow cooker. Sprinkle garlic over top.
- Add the browned beef on top of the vegetables.
- Pour in the beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, salt, and pepper. Gently stir to combine.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 6–7 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours, until potatoes are tender.
- Stir gently before serving and garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
