Ingredients
2 pounds frozen meatballs
1 cup teriyaki sauce
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 tablespoon soy sauce
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon grated ginger
1/2 cup pineapple chunks (optional)
1 tablespoon cornstarch
2 tablespoons water
1 tablespoon sesame seeds (for garnish)
2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)
Instructions
1. In a bowl, whisk together teriyaki sauce, brown sugar, soy sauce, garlic, and ginger. Add pineapple juice if using chunks.
2. Place frozen meatballs and pineapple chunks (if using) into the slow cooker.
3. Pour the sauce over the meatballs, making sure they are evenly coated.
4. Cover and cook on LOW for 4–5 hours or HIGH for 2–3 hours.
5. About 30 minutes before serving, mix cornstarch with water and stir into the slow cooker.
6. Stir occasionally and let the sauce thicken into a glossy glaze.
7. Sprinkle sesame seeds and green onions over the top.
8. Serve hot over rice, noodles, or as an appetizer.
Notes
For best results, use thick teriyaki sauce—it clings better and adds more flavor.
Stir the meatballs occasionally to ensure even coating and cooking.
If making your own meatballs, cook them fully before adding to the slow cooker.
