If you’re craving a dinner that’s sweet, spicy, and wildly satisfying, this Spicy Cajun Honey Butter Chicken & Pasta is calling your name. It’s a perfect mix of Cajun spice, sticky honey butter glaze, and creamy pasta—comfort food with serious attitude. This easy recipe is ideal for busy weeknights, yet bold enough to serve at a dinner gathering. Whether you’re looking for easy dinner ideas, comfort food recipes, or something spicy and sweet in under 30 minutes, this dish is your answer.

Ingredients

1 pound chicken breast or thighs, cut into chunks

2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning

2 tablespoons olive oil

2 tablespoons butter

3 cloves garlic, minced

3 tablespoons honey

8 ounces fettuccine or pasta of choice

1 teaspoon salt, or to taste

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

2 tablespoons chopped parsley or green onions for garnish (optional)

Instructions

1. Cut chicken into bite-sized pieces and season with Cajun seasoning, salt, and black pepper.

2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and sear chicken until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.

3. In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and melt butter. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant.

4. Stir in honey and whisk to combine into a smooth glaze.

5. Return chicken to the skillet and toss in the honey butter sauce. Simmer for 2–3 minutes.

6. Cook pasta in salted water until al dente. Reserve some pasta water before draining.

7. Add pasta to the skillet and toss with the chicken and sauce. Use reserved pasta water to loosen the sauce if needed.

8. Serve hot with chopped parsley or green onions, if using.

Notes

Use homemade Cajun seasoning to control salt and spice levels.

Don’t overcook the garlic—just 30 seconds until fragrant.

If the sauce thickens too much, add a splash of pasta water or broth to adjust.
