Whether you’re after a kid-friendly dessert or a last-minute dish for guests, this easy recipe will become your go-to favorite.

Ingredients

1 cup fresh strawberries (pureed)

1 package (3 oz) strawberry gelatin

1/2 cup hot water

1/2 cup cold water

1 container (8 oz) Cool Whip

1 prepared 9-inch graham cracker crust

4 oz cream cheese (softened, optional)

2 tablespoons granulated sugar (optional, based on strawberry sweetness)

1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)

Instructions

1. If using a homemade crust, bake and cool it completely. If using store-bought, set it aside.

2. Wash, hull, and puree the strawberries. Strain if you prefer a smoother filling.

3. Dissolve the strawberry gelatin in hot water, then stir in cold water. Let it cool slightly.

4. In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese (if using) until smooth. Mix in the strawberry puree and cooled gelatin.

5. Fold in the Cool Whip gently until the mixture is fluffy and well combined.

6. Pour the filling into the prepared crust. Smooth the top with a spatula.

7. Refrigerate the pie for at least 4 hours or overnight until fully set.

8. Garnish with fresh strawberries or whipped cream just before serving.

Notes

Use room-temperature cream cheese for easier blending and a smoother filling.

Chill the pie overnight for the cleanest slices and fully set texture.

Taste your strawberries first—add sugar only if they’re not naturally sweet enough.
