Whether you’re looking for quick breakfast pairings, a cool treat for your picnic table, or healthy snack options with a fruity twist, this sweet tea is a versatile favorite. Ideal for easy recipe lovers and anyone in search of fun drink and food ideas!

Ingredients

2 cups sliced fresh strawberries

3/4 cup granulated sugar

1/4 cup water (for syrup)

4 cups water (for tea)

4 black tea bags

1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

Ice cubes for serving

Optional: extra strawberry slices or lemon rounds for garnish

Instructions

1. In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine sliced strawberries, sugar, and 1/4 cup water. Cook until strawberries soften and syrup thickens, about 10 minutes.

2. Strain the syrup through a fine mesh sieve into a bowl and set aside to cool.

3. Boil 4 cups of water and steep the black tea bags for 5–7 minutes. Remove tea bags and allow tea to cool to room temperature.

4. In a large pitcher, combine cooled tea with the strawberry syrup and stir well.

5. Add fresh lemon juice and taste to adjust sweetness or acidity.

6. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.

7. Serve over ice and garnish with extra strawberries or lemon slices if desired.

Notes

Always let both syrup and tea cool completely before mixing to avoid cloudiness.

Adjust sweetness by adding more or less sugar based on your preference.

Use decaffeinated tea or herbal blends for a caffeine-free version.
