Description

Say goodbye to refined sugar without sacrificing flavor! This *Sugar Free Banana Bread* is moist, naturally sweetened with ripe bananas, and perfect for breakfast, dessert, or a midday snack. Whether you’re searching for a healthy snack, quick breakfast option, or wholesome food ideas to meal prep, this easy recipe delivers comfort and taste in every slice. Ideal for anyone avoiding sugar but still craving that classic banana bread flavor.

Ingredients

3 large very ripe bananas

1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking soda

1/4 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

2 large eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/3 cup coconut oil (melted)

1/4 cup unsweetened non-dairy milk

1/3 cup sugar-free chocolate chips (optional)

1/4 cup chopped walnuts (optional)

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan or line with parchment paper.

2. In a large bowl, mash bananas until mostly smooth.

3. Add eggs, oil, vanilla, and milk to bananas and whisk until well combined.

4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.

5. Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined—do not overmix.

6. Gently fold in chocolate chips or walnuts if using.

7. Pour batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top. Tap to release air bubbles.

8. Bake for 50–60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean or with moist crumbs.

9. Cool in pan for 15 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.

Notes

Use the ripest bananas possible for the best natural sweetness.

You can freeze individual slices for up to 3 months.

Tent with foil during baking if the top is browning too fast.
