Ingredients

  • 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts, thinly sliced
  • 8 oz linguine pasta
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook linguine until al dente. Drain and reserve 1/2 cup pasta water.
  2. Season chicken with salt and pepper. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat and cook chicken until golden and cooked through. Set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add garlic and cook until fragrant (about 30 seconds). Stir in red pepper flakes and soy sauce, letting it simmer for 1 minute.
  4. Return chicken to the skillet and add cooked linguine. Toss everything together.
  5. Sprinkle in Parmesan and stir until melted and coating the pasta. Add reserved pasta water if sauce needs loosening.
  6. Turn off heat, garnish with parsley, and serve immediately.
