Instructions

  1. Prepare the Chicken:
    • Pound the chicken breasts to an even thickness using a meat mallet.
    • Season both sides with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  2. Cook the Chicken:
    • Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a cast iron skillet over medium-high heat.
    • Cook the chicken for 5-6 minutes per side or until golden brown and fully cooked.
    • Transfer to a plate and cover to keep warm.
  3. Sauté the Onions and Mushrooms:
    • In the same skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter.
    • Add the onions and mushrooms, cooking for 5-7 minutes until softened and caramelized.
    • Transfer to a plate.
