Ingredients

1 cup sour cream

1 cup mayonnaise

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

6 slices cooked bacon, crumbled

1 packet ranch seasoning mix

2 tablespoons chopped green onions (optional)

Crackers, chips, or veggies for serving


Instructions

1. Cook the bacon until crispy, then crumble it into small pieces. Let it cool completely.

2. In a large mixing bowl, stir together sour cream and mayonnaise until smooth.

3. Add the ranch seasoning mix and stir until evenly distributed.

4. Fold in shredded cheddar and most of the bacon crumbles, reserving a bit of each for topping.

5. Stir in chopped green onions if using.

6. Cover and chill the dip in the fridge for at least 1 hour.

7. Before serving, stir the dip, top with the reserved cheese and bacon, and serve with chips or crackers.

Notes

For best flavor, use freshly cooked and well-drained bacon.
