Flaky, buttery croissants paired with savory turkey, crisp lettuce, and creamy cheese create a café-style sandwich that’s easy to assemble yet full of flavor. Perfect for lunch or a light dinner.
Ingredients
- 1 large buttery croissant
- 3–4 slices of deli turkey breast
- 1 slice of Swiss cheese (or preferred cheese)
- 2 lettuce leaves (romaine or green leaf)
- 2 tomato slices
- 1–2 tsp mayonnaise (or mustard)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Optional:
- Red onion slices
- Avocado slices
- Cranberry or honey mustard spread
Instructions
- Wash and dry the lettuce and tomato slices. Pat dry.
- Slice the croissant horizontally with a serrated knife.
- Spread mayo or desired condiment on each half.
- Layer lettuce on the bottom half, followed by tomato slices. Season lightly.
- Add turkey slices, then cheese.
- Top with the croissant’s upper half. Press gently and serve.
