Description

Flaky, buttery croissants paired with savory turkey, crisp lettuce, and creamy cheese create a café-style sandwich that’s easy to assemble yet full of flavor. Perfect for lunch or a light dinner.


Ingredients

  • 1 large buttery croissant
  • 34 slices of deli turkey breast
  • 1 slice of Swiss cheese (or preferred cheese)
  • 2 lettuce leaves (romaine or green leaf)
  • 2 tomato slices
  • 12 tsp mayonnaise (or mustard)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Optional:

  • Red onion slices
  • Avocado slices
  • Cranberry or honey mustard spread

Instructions

  1. Wash and dry the lettuce and tomato slices. Pat dry.
  2. Slice the croissant horizontally with a serrated knife.
  3. Spread mayo or desired condiment on each half.
  4. Layer lettuce on the bottom half, followed by tomato slices. Season lightly.
  5. Add turkey slices, then cheese.
  6. Top with the croissant’s upper half. Press gently and serve.
