Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pounds sirloin filets, cut into 1 1/2-inch cubes
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 2 teaspoons brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper, freshly ground if possible
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 teaspoons garlic, finely minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, finely chopped, plus more for garnish
- 1 cup bell pepper, optional, cut into chunks
- 1 cup mushrooms, optional, sliced
- 1/2 red onion, optional, cut into wedges
- 1/4 cup parmesan, optional, finely grated
Instructions
- Season the Steak: Pat the sirloin cubes dry with paper towels, then toss them in a bowl with the olive oil, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated. Let them rest at room temperature for 10 minutes so the seasoning can soak in.
- Preheat the Air Fryer: Heat your air fryer to 400°F for about 3 minutes.
- Air Fry the Steak: Arrange the steak bites in a single layer in the basket, leaving space between pieces, and cook for 6-8 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through. The outside should be well browned and the inside should reach 130-140°F for medium-rare to medium.
- Make the Garlic Butter: While the steak cooks, stir the melted butter, minced garlic, and 1 tablespoon parsley together in a small bowl.
- Toss and Finish: Transfer the hot steak bites to a large bowl, pour the garlic butter over them, and toss to coat. Garnish with extra parsley and serve right away.
