Ingredients
1.5 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
15 ounces Alfredo sauce
1/2 cup chicken broth
4 ounces cream cheese, cubed
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
12 ounces fettuccine, cooked separately
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (optional)
Instructions
1. Place chicken breasts into the crock pot and season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
2. Add Alfredo sauce, chicken broth, minced garlic, and cubed cream cheese over the chicken.
3. Cover and cook on low for 4–5 hours or high for 2–3 hours until chicken is tender.
4. Remove chicken, shred with two forks, and return to the slow cooker.
5. Cook pasta separately according to package directions.
6. Stir cooked pasta into the crock pot.
7. Add Parmesan cheese and stir until melted.
8. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
9. Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
Notes
Use full-fat cream cheese and Parmesan for the creamiest texture.
Do not add pasta too early or it may become mushy.
