Ingredients

1 box yellow cake mix (15.25 oz)

2 large eggs

1/3 cup vegetable oil

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

1 cup pastel candy-coated chocolates

1/2 cup white chocolate chips

1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.

2. In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract until smooth.

3. Add the cake mix and salt, mixing until a thick dough forms.

4. Fold in chocolate chips and most of the candy-coated chocolates.

5. Press the dough evenly into the prepared pan.

6. Sprinkle remaining candies on top and gently press them in.

7. Bake for 20–25 minutes until edges are golden and center is slightly soft.

8. Allow to cool completely before slicing into bars.

Notes

Do not overbake to keep the bars soft and chewy in the center.

Use parchment paper for easy removal and clean slicing.

Add extra candies on top after baking for a bakery-style appearance.
