4 cups chicken broth

1 cup whole milk or heavy cream

2 tablespoons all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon dried thyme

1/2 teaspoon paprika

1/2 cup frozen peas

2 tablespoons fresh parsley chopped


Instructions

1. Heat butter and olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add onion, carrots, and celery. Cook until softened.

2. Stir in garlic and cook briefly until fragrant.

3. Sprinkle flour over vegetables, stir well, and cook for 1–2 minutes.

4. Slowly add chicken broth while stirring to avoid lumps.

5. Add milk or cream and season with salt, pepper, thyme, and paprika. Simmer until slightly thickened.

6. Stir in shredded chicken and peas, simmer for a few minutes.

7. Cut biscuit dough into small pieces.
